I’m Portuguese, 51 years old, married, 3 daughters.
I started my career in 1996 in a multinational environment at Siemens. In 2000, I moved to Banco Espírito Santo (BES) as call center manager. Four years later, in 2004, I became head of the Bank’s Service Quality Department. I assumed several other responsibilities between 2004 and 2016, such as being a board member at Contact, responsible for creating a corporate University, and latter responsible for the organization department.
I was a board member of the Lisbon MBA and faculty in executive education programs. After 16 years in the banking sector, I decided to move into food retail at Jerónimo Martins. I am fascinated by the industry, the Company and the role.
At Jerónimo Martins, which is one of the 50 largest retailers in the world, I have a role in the holding as Global Learning & Innovation Executive Director. In the area of learning, creating and adapting training programs to the Jerónimo Martins reality, as well as managing open programs with universities and other partners. In the Innovation area with structural projects in Reporting and Analysis, Processes and Technology.
I introduce myself by emphasizing the ability to lead and influence teams, organization and planning, communication, innovation, customer focus and analytical skills.
