Leonor Sottomayor is head of Public Affairs of Sonae since 2015. She is on the Board of Directors of various trade associations, including EuroCommerce and the Portuguese Business Confederation. Leonor is also Vice-President of Sociedade Ponto Verde and SDR Portugal. She previously worked in EU affairs for the sugar industry. 

Leonor has a degree in Foreign Languages Applied to International Corporations from the Portuguese Catholic University, and a master degree in International Politics from the Centre d’Etudes des Relations Internationales et Strategiques, Brussels. In 2020, Leonor completed the “Accelerated Development Programme” from the London Business School.

Leonor is married with three children.
