Over the decades, the variety and scope of courses have expanded considerably – a growth that continues to this day. Skills4Retail explores emerging trends in skills and job roles within the retail industry, which is a sector vital to Austria.

Riga State Technical School (RSTS) offers educational programs in the retail sector. RSTS is interested in developing a new Retail Skills Strategy and Vocational Education and Training Program. VET schools in Europe must be proactive in providing educational programs and training materials, as they need to adapt to the changing needs of the labor market. RSTS encourages commerce students to establish student-run companies and develop new talents by utilizing modern VET programs, which are essential in today’s world. RSTS also has an adult education center and is looking to implement new short-term modular courses. It will have a positive impact both individually and on the entire retail sector.
